We’ve all been there. The Jury Duty notice arrives and we immediately try to figure out how to avoid getting selected. Of course most of the time, they just ask you to call in every day and most of the time, you’re asked to call back the next day. After a week, you’re excused until next time – usually a two-year reprieve. And maybe you were asked to go to the courthouse once or twice. But again, most of the time you were excused.
But for the 16 people in our story, this wasn’t most of the time. This time it’s a major criminal case that will challenge their beliefs and cause lasting emotional damage for all. Based on an actual criminal case, The 15th Juror tells the story from the jurors’ points of view. It could have been you! |
