The Inflection Point (free)
Note from Steve:
This is a novelette, shorter than a novel, shorter than a novella, but longer than a short story. I have put one idea for turning it into a novel at the end. Let me know what you think. Should I leave it as-is? Or, turn it into a full novel? The Inflection Point is a novelette about a man dying of pancreatic cancer. His always intense dreams are now enhanced to the point that he can't tell the difference between the dreams and reality. Is this just the effects of the drugs? Could it be his way of resolving his life and coming to terms with his death? Or is it something else? The Swimmer

And then, someone on Social Media begins a concerted effort to destroy her reputation. Neither is aware that they are just the first two pawns in a game where Social Media will threaten not only them, but those closest to them and even the entire country. The 15th JurorWe’ve all been there. The Jury Duty notice arrives. Most of the time, we're excused. But for the 16 people in our story, this wasn’t most of the time. This time it’s a major criminal case that will challenge their beliefs and cause lasting emotional damage for all.
Based on an actual criminal case, The 15th Juror tells the story from the jurors’ points of view. It could have been you! |
